Going on April 22 through May 1, 2010 is the Downtown Embassy Festival.

LOCATION: Two blocks from Monument
Square on South Main Street, Lewistown (across from Burger King).
Come
One! Come All! To the 14th annual Embassy Downtown Festival!!! Rides,
games, entertainment and food await you! Come and support the
restoration of the historic Embassy Theatre while having a great time.
The Midway opens at 6 pm every evening (except Sunday), and runs to 10
pm nightly and 11 pm Friday and Saturday nights. Free admission to
fairgrounds. Nightly Ride-A-Rama armbands are only $12.
PARKING:
Parking for the festival is a concern to the Friends of the Embassy
Theatre. In past years, patrons have parked in private lots, including
Kish Apartments, Elsesser’s Apartments, Burger King, and Kish Creek
Center. These lots are for residents and business customers only. The
Friends reminds its patrons to please use on-street parking or the
public parking lots. Parking is also available at the Brooklyn Fire
Company for a fee. We appreciate your cooperation.
SPECIAL
SHOWS:
KID CONNECTION MATINEE: APRIL 24th 2 to 5 pm
Saturday,
April 24 is the annual Kid Connection in Downtown Lewistown. Activities
begin around 9 am and run to 2 pm. Activities are free for all ages.
During
the event, stop by the Embassy Theatre Box Office to get a armband for
the Kid Connection Matinee, at the festival grounds from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Armbands are just $6 for 3 hours of fun when purchased before 2 pm at
the theatre. After 2 pm, armbands can be purchased at the festival
grounds for $7. NOTE: If Kid Connection is changed to the rain date of
May 1st then the Kid Connection Matinee is also moved to the rain date.
SUNDAY
AFTERNOON MATINEE: April 25, 4 to 8 pm. Ride the afternoon for a
reduced price.
Ride all afternoon for a special price.

FROM THE FESTIVAL BENEFIT THE EMBASSY THEATRE RESTORATION PROJECT.
