The missing link for most small business people in our rural area is the ability to network with the hundreds of kindred souls spread throughout Mifflin and Juniata Counties, facing the same business issues, the same business climate and very similar challenges.
The single most important mission of our local two county Chamber is to provide the means for members to network with fellow members.  We do that by offering several benefits of membership that address the subject as part of membership.

First, we provide a monthly networking event at a different sponsor’s business location for networking and socializing.  The two hour event may be at any member’s location within the two county area.  Food is provided and sometimes wine or beer.  The goal is to bring business people together to meet one another and to eventually do business with one another.  We have done this every month for over five years.

We have an email broadcast system reaching out to 850 business people’s computers.  We send informative informational flyers out almost every business day as a benefit of membership to the broadcast list.  There is no charge for up to four of these electronic flyers sent as PDF attachments per year.  You will always be up to date as to what’s happening in fellow member’s business organizations.

We do a detailed email newsletter every month to keep you informed on a multitude of business issues and report on our activities and list future events and seminars.

We have delivered a newsletter every month for five years.

Our web site contains multi membership listings; by business name, by contact person name and by category.  Your listing will provides phone, fax, address, a map to your address feature, a direct link to your website and a direct to you email feature.
