Group 13 Productions Wins Indie Fest

Group 13 Productions sophomore film, POINTLESS, has won a prestigious Award of Merit from The Indie Fest.
Lewistown, PA – Shortly after receiving word that their first film, CAVEAT, was chosen as an official selection for the Stiletto Film Festival, Group 13 Productions was notified that their sophomore film, POINTLESS, has won a prestigious Award of Merit from The Indie Fest. The award was given for the exciting trailer created to promote POINTLESS. The Sci-fi thriller, POINTLESS, will feature Julie Ufema’s controversial vision of a future, point based health care system in which our government is allowed to determine who is worthy of better care.
"We are so thrilled to be recognized for the effort we put into making the trailer. So many local people came out to help with a very emotionally charged protest scene. At one point the crowd became so intense that they couldn’t even hear me yelling ‘Cut!’" says producer Julie Ufema, "The entire cast and crew made that moment absolutely electric.”
The Indie Fest recognizes film professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity, and those who produce standout entertainment or contribute to profound social change.
